Tyrany

The Age of Revolution, Early Tyranny and legislators.

After 500 BC less colonies were founded. Many regions were already occupied and the resistance of the countries against the settlers got stronger. Around 650 BC, noble families, farmers and traders who got rich through the colonization started to establish autocratic ruler-ships or Tyranny. These years were characterized with mutual rivalry of City-states. They tried to extend and defend their territories. In some City-States the rulers created a fair legislation, in others, Tyrants suppressed the citizens, which had to pay contributions. But there were also existing other social systems, which every city practiced by their self.

We will have now a closer look to the social systems of Sparta and Athens, which will control the classical ages.
