Hermes and Zeus

Once upon a time Zeus needed the help of Hermes, who helped him although it would have been a great moment to easily take over the power of the earth.

Throughout unfortunate circumstances Zeus had been caught prisoner of Typhon, an ugly monster with hundred snake heads. The monster cut out all tendons of Zeus and gave them to a dragon to take care of them. And of course without the tendons Zeus couldn’t move that pretty well… and there is were Hermes come into play.

Hermes stole the tendons of the dragon and gave them back to Zeus. Once recovered, Zeus punished Typhon by throwing the whole island of Sicily after him and burying him totally. It’s said that if the monster breathes today, you can see that the Etna volcano spit lava.
